So I'm very bad at updating my lonely DA account. I apologize.

What's been going on with me? Well, I'll tell ya...

I went back to the movie theatre I left last year because I haven't had a paid film job since the beginning of July. It's not glamorous, but it's work. They also said that I can go on a leave of absence if a film comes up, which is awesome.

I'm working on a short film with my students at Compass Film Academy (I teach Production Design in the winter there). We were working on creating a set today, which was awesome.

Today at Compass they started their first ever "Spirit Week". Today was Star Wars day. I went in my black cloak and entered their light saber tournament. I kind of dominated. Oops. But it was an epic final battle complete with fake lightning and battle music. Fun times. I am now the Lord of the Sith at Compass.

I think I came up with an idea to my Twilight spoof comic (since we all know how much I love Twilight :gags: ). It might take me a bit to get to it, but it involves the werewolf guy.

I'm also going to be at GVSU's Renaissance Festival October 17-18 from 10am til 6pm selling leather/fabric goods. Come out and visit! It's the only free Ren Faire in Michigan! My booth is Dark Goddess Leather Pleasures. And shares a booth with me!
